Dr. Shayes attended Shiraz University School of dental medicine and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995. He later attended Nova Southeastern in Ft. Lauderdale and earned his DMD degree in 2000. He has been in private practice ever since.

Dr. Shayes is an avid swimmer and in his spare time he enjoys going to the gym, playing racquetball, and scuba diving.
